Field and Commercial Crops

1. All products must be grown by the exhibitor and harvested since August 2008.
2. An exhibitor may make only one entry in each lot.
3. Premiums awarded will be
        1st - $5.00
        2nd - $3.00
        3rd - $2.00
4. Any product bought from store will be disqualified.
5. Entry Sunday, August 10th 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.


Class 01 - Corn

01) White Corn (6 ears)
02) Yellow Corn (6 ears)

Class 02 - Tobacco
Lot
01) Tobacco, 1 stalk (cured or partly cured) will be
judged on size, quality of leaf and soundness.
02) Primed ground leaves (to be shown in regular size hand with not less than 15 or more than 20 leaves). Lowest ground leaves are the first, second and third from the bottom of the stalk, commonly called flyings. This is to have been primed in the field.


Class 03 - Hay
(Square bale - block or ¼ bale)
(Round bale - use chain saw to cut two-foot cross
section and placed in a grocery bag)
